The Memory Makers Enrichment Center provides enrichment activities for children and families. Our new facility is a beautiful studio located in historic downtown Katy. A variety of fun and educational will be offered for preschoolers and elementary children as well as adult classes.
Our facility is also available for children’s parties, events and workshops.
Arts Ala Carte Children's
Memory Makers hosted its inaugural Arts Ala Carte Children’s Art Show on April 20 and 21, 2012 at The Heights Art Studio and Gallery. The children showed off their individual and collaborative art pieces to their families and friends. Food was provided by Green Plate Kids and Houston Facepainting entertained the children with their dazzling face art! It was a wonderful and memorable event.
Read For the Record
Memory Makers participated in the Jumpstart's Read for the Record Campaign which took place on October 6, 2011.
Ms. Debbie read Llama LlamaRed Pajama by Anna Dewdney to children at Happy Times Academy at a school wide Pajama Party! We were featured in the local newspaper for supporting early childhood literacy.

This workshop will give you tools on how to build self-esteem in young children so that they have the awareness and confidence to recognize bullying and deal with it in an effective way.
"Classroom Themes That Promote Self-Esteem and Social Skills"
In a world of computers, and new technologies debuting every day, face to face socialization has become a lost art! This fun workshop will demonstrate how to use literature to bring themes to life and teach self-esteem and social skills in creative ways. Attendees will go back to their classrooms with a new perspective and some fun ideas that will make teaching these important skills fun!
"Creating Classroom Harmony"
The classroom is a very important tool of the trade for teachers. So, it is extremely important that it is a safe and efficient place for children to learn and grow. This can be a difficult challenge for teachers. This workshop will give educators some valuable tools that can help their classroom become a manageable and happy place for children, teachers and parents.
"Creating a Children's Book Club"
Readers are leaders! So, to make reading fun and exciting why not start a children's book club? This is a fun way for children to build reading and skills. This workshop will show teachers how to pair skilled readers with reading beginners to create a fun book club that children will love!
