 In addition to children’s event planning Memory Makers offers a School Enrichment Program, Arts Ala Carte. We bring the arts to schools across the Houston area offering yoga, creative movement, music, drama and art classes to children ages 3 to 7 years old. Arts Ala Carte can also come to your home offering neighborhood classes and home-schooling classes.

Movers and Shakers is a creative movement program offering creative movement and yoga classes for children ages 3 to 7 years. Boys & girls will have a blast as we explore movement through music, develop physical skills, stimulate imagination and encourage creativity. We focus on concepts such as perception, directionality and memory. Children’s yoga classes include exercises, meditation, game playing, and storytelling to make yoga come to life. Many of the skills that our program encourages are actually the foundation for fundamental skills such as reading and writing. These classes will prepare children for whatever comes next…sports, dance, and overall academic performance!
Storybook Artists is a unique art experience exclusively for kids combining the magic of children’s literature with the creativity of art. Classes take place at your child’s school. We read books, learn about famous artists, practice art techniques and explore different art media. Classes are based on a theme or art concept and always include literature. Children will explore basic concepts while challenging their intellectual, perceptual and physical skills as well as teaching them new ones. We paint, draw, sculpt, explore and create. Once Upon a Story…brings children’s literature to life! Children will get to act out their favorite stories and even create their own stories to act out. Once Upon a Story…helps children develop early literacy skills while building children’s confidence, and self esteem. Children will also develop speech skills as well as leadership and teamwork skills.

“Kidnology” is a children’s computer class that teaches children fundamental computer skills needed for academic success in this age of technology. The curriculum is customized for a variety of ages and skill levels allowing each child to move along at their own pace with fun lessons and activities.
